One of my goals were to tour the winery at Saint-Emillion/Bordeaux area. Started a tour at Saint-Emillion. It was such a small, but beautiful village.
Had a lunch at a cafe that had a pretty small garden but don’t remember the name honestly…the food was good overall.
First stop was Chateau Beau-Sejour. It was relatively small but really artistic. The wine cave was somewhat cozy and mysterious. The owner was super friendly as well and it was such a nice chance to visit this chateau.
This chateau was more contemporary compared to previous Chateau but still beautiful as well. The building was built by architect Mario Botta and is super chic. I personally liked the white wine from here. It had a full fruity taste to it and was really excellent.
A magnificent chateau that I was passing by…the building is in vivid wine color and was spectacular to see…
CHATEAU GRAND BARRAIL
This chateau is located a few miles away from central Saint-Emillion. It’s a chateau hotel with pretty gardens. The breakfast was really good in a cozy setting and the garden was perfect to walk around. 🙂
